Hi, I’m Kata, the person behind Le Crafty design studio.
Le Crafty is a melting pot of everything I am passionate about and love doing.
I’ve been working in the creative industry since 2009, and I’ve seen a lot. After graduating in industrial design, I kicked off my career in graphic design and started climbing the creative career ladder.
I’ve worked as an Editorial Graphic Designer, Marketing Designer, Communication Designer, Brand Designer, Art Director, Corporate Design Lead, Creative Lead, Head of Creative… and so on.
I’ve worked at companies of various sizes and industries, from big advertising firms to small and large tech startups. A lot has changed over these years—trends come and go, technologies arise, and my skill set has evolved with them. I’ve grown and matured—just like the white hairs on my head—but a few things have remained and become crystal clear to me:
I’ve always loved brand design.
I am convinced that brand design is still relevant and always will be. We see brands sprouting like mushrooms, yet so many are forgettable—they look the same, sound the same, and do the same. If you want your brand to stand out and stick, you have to take it seriously. You must care about the quality you put out there and dare to be different—so you’ll need a Brand Designer to craft your unique brand expression.
I want to enjoy life as much as possible.
One of my ways of doing this is through hobbies, most of which involve crafting. You name a craft, and I’ve probably tried it over the years. There’s something magical about working with your hands to create a beautiful object or painting that you can display in your home. Every time you look at it, you’re reminded of the joy and fulfilment you felt while making it. These little positive moments anyone could experience — I want to spread the joy of crafting with offering crafting workshops and DIY kits.
